"Building One's Character"

As you journey through life, you will probably notice that things begin
to change little by little. you get more responsibilities and are faced
with more challenges. Unlike before, when you used to rely on your
parents to decide for you or to do things for you, you cannot just let others make decisions for you now. you probably prefer to deal with your personal conflicts on your own rather than consult your

family about them. you take more roles and you meet new friends, therefore
making you like a bit more complicated than it was before.
the conflicts you encounter do not only ask you to choose between two things.
Sometimes, you will have to choose among many that may seem equally attractive.
Thus, you have to practice discrimination even if a choice means sacrificing,
you will have to carry out the decision you have made. there will be times when
you seem to have no better choice than to what already exists.
then you will have to learn to be flexible and at the time, tough.
Later on, you will see that your life slowly takes shape as a results of
the many choices that you have made. you will cease to be just one of the
many who traverse life. you will soon emerge as a distinct individuals,
and if you play your cards right, in the end, you will find yourself with
a character distinctly your own.
